I WASN’T ALWAYS A THERAPIST!
Believe it or not, I am a US qualified lawyer, and worked as a prosecutor in New York City for several years upon my graduation from law school. After moving to London in 2011, I worked in corporate law until 2017.
I always felt tremendous compassion and empathy for my legal clients, and often found myself curious about their circumstances and outcomes long after our professional relationship terminated.
When it was time for a career change after years of lawyering, counselling was an easy choice. My skillset has always been problem solving, which led me to retrain and achieve my Level 4 CPCAB* Therapeutic Counselling Diploma. I have also accumulated over 200 hours of client therapy through my work with Headstrong Counselling. In addition, I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
I always knew I would do counselling differently. My style is focused and directive, yet entirely free of judgment and loaded with warmth. I am confident I can help you achieve your goals and find solutions through our work together.
Do not hesitate to get in touch. If you’re unsure, please book a 30 minute taster session to see if Sage London Counselling is right for you. I strongly suggest a commitment to six sessions, as I trust you will see change with this number of sessions.
I hold British, Irish and US citizenships. I also contribute to widely-read publications, such as Huffington Post.
Sessions are conducted online. Contact me today; we will find the light.
